
The Palhalupuk Cave Temple
The Palhalupuk Cave Temple is an ancient cave temple and a memorable view of the Potala. The Palhalupuk Cave Temple is perhaps the oldest religious site in Lhasa. It lies on the Chakpori Mountain which has a height of 3725 meters. The light in the Palhalupuk Cave Temple is dim, making it much mysterious. To the west of the temple, we could see a place thickly dotted sculptures. It named as Terra Cotta Buddha. Om Mani Pedme Hum and Buddha sculptures have been made there for thousand of years and still being made till now.
